Blizzard Entertainment recently spilled the guts beans on when we’ll finally be able to get our hands on the next Diablo game. Along with it, the series’ long-time developers gave more information about when the pre-load times are going to start.
If you want to try and get a jump ahead of everyone else, you can preload Diablo 4 on May 30 (4 PM PDT / 7 PM PDT) or May 31 (12 AM BST).
If you own a PlayStation or an Xbox, all you need to do is to navigate your way to the Diablo 4 page on the storefront and press download on the pre-load dates. But, if you own a PC, you’ll need to download the Battle.net client first to access and install Diablo 4.
With at least one day to go before the early access date for Diablo 4 on June 1, eager gamers will have plenty of time to get everything set before the launch date.
Diablo 4 takes place years following the events of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. With the three Prime Evils long gone, a new darkness emerges in the form of Lilith. The daughter of Mephisto and one-half of the progenitor of the Nephilim as well as of Sanctuary, Lilith is hellbent on conquering the very same world she helped create. It’s now up to players to put an end to Lilith and her evil machinations.
Blizzard has done an excellent job testing Diablo 4 over the course of the past two years following its initial delay. Now, a lot of gamers are about to find out why Lilith was imprisoned in the Void by Inarius.
Aside from the pre-load times, Blizzard also confirmed that gamers can earn special goodies just by watching three and/or six hours of eligible content on Twitch.
Now that the stage is set for the war between Lilith and Inarius, gamers better prepare for what’s coming next. The good news is that Blizzard is confident that Diablo 4 won’t suffer from the same problems that its predecessor as well as its contemporaries are facing.
