A month from now, fighting game fans will get a chance to enjoy the latest entry in one of the most popular fighting game franchises in the world. With fans waiting in anticipation for the release of Street Fighter 6, Capcom tapped Lil Wayne to be the host of a dedicated showcase where it dropped a nasty combo of exciting news, highlighted by the release of the free-to-play demo.

According to Capcom, Street Fighter 6 is already available to play on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series X and PC versions of the demo will be available on April 26.

Similar to the Resident Evil 4 Remake, Capcom isn't making Street Fighter 6 available on the Xbox One for some reason.

Going back to the demo, Capcom revealed that players can use this time to create characters that will carry over to the full release on June 2 as well as play Fighting Grounds matches.

Capcom used the showcase to highlight all the changes coming to Street Fighter 6 as well, including the World Tour and Battle Hub modes. In addition to this, Capcom confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will let players customize character movesets and meet other similar customized characters with unique skills. Finally, for players to gain access to specific moves, they'll have to befriend Masters, which are characters from the main roster like Chun-Li.
