Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0's DMZ mode will again be getting a big update in season 4. However, the new updates require players' current mission progress in the extraction shooter mode to be reset as a consequence.
Infinity Ward recently announced that it will reset Faction Mission progress and insured weapon slots. The refresh will also wipe contraband, keys, and mission item inventories in Warzone DMZ.
"Updates will include a refresh and reset like that of Season 02 in order to make room for new Mission sets and the new Upgrade [REDACTED]," Infinity Ward tweeted. "Faction Mission progress will be reset in lieu of the new ability to earn Faction [CLASSIFIED]."
The studio went on to clarify that "earned rewards such as Blueprints, Skins, and Calling Cards will not be affected" by the reset.
Players and content creators have mixed reactions to the upcoming reset for DMZ. The Day 1 players of the popular game mode are not surprised that Infinity Ward will again refresh player progress in DMZ.
