Less than a year after it was first announced, Crystal Dynamics' take on the superhero team video game format continues to chug along despite the negative overall reception to the game.
So far, Marvel's Avengers has seen the arrival of Kate Bishop and Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye. As promised, King T'Challa, better known as the Black Panther, will be joining Marvel's Avengers hero roster as part of the War for Wakanda expansion. When Is the War for Wakanda Release Date? We've known for a while that Black Panther coming to the game after the announcement of the War for Wakanda expansion. Unfortunately, the roadmap for Marvel's Avengers failed to provide more information as to when audiences can expect the new hero to come swing by as a playable character.
Fast forward to E3 2021 and Crystal Dynamics has confirmed the War for Wakanda release date.
According to Crystal Dynamics, the free update is scheduled to arrive in August. In addition to letting players take control of the Black Panther, the expansion will also offer gamers the opportunity to explore Wakanda and meet all of its most prominent citizens. This includes the Dora Milaje, as well as King T'Challa's younger sister, Shuri, and Klaue, who will serve as the main antagonist of the War for Wakanda expansion.
