Tony Stark, a character now forever synonymous with Robert Downey Jr., is almost never consciously evil. Unfortunately, his personality and actions almost always end up creating devastating consequences that arguably make him a villain in some ways. Vin Diesel, who's a certified nerd, must know this because he just created the perfect role for the Iron Man star.
As part of the release of the official Fast X trailer, Diesel shared with Variety his idea for a role for RDJ, who he describes as the "antithesis of Dom."
Here's what Diesel said about RDJ's potential character in Fast 11:
There's a character, that - without telling you too much about what happens in the future - there's a character who is the antithesis of Dom, who is promoting AI an d driverless cars and a philosohpy that with that goes your freedom. There is somebody that believes that's the future and that's at direct odds with the Torreto mentality.
