We have known for a while that Sony plans to establish Uncharted as a new movie franchise following the commercial success of the first movie. While the studio remains mum on the sequel, actor Mark Wahlberg has some big news for the upcoming movie.
In an interview with The Direct, Wahlberg confirmed that Uncharted 2 is currently in development. The actor revealed that a script for the film has been written and he suggests a key change to the appearance of his character Sully. He shared that the character will be sporting his signature mustache in the entire movie.
"I've heard lots of different ideas," said Wahlberg. "I know somebody's written a script, and they're still working on it, and it would consist of having the mustache the whole entire time. Which completely makes sense; obviously, in that final scene, I have the mustache. I spent quite a bit of time growing it because, at one point, we tried to do it with a fake mustache, and, I don't know. I just don't have the confidence to pull it off."
