Tyson Fury is itching to get back in the ring, only this time he won't be wearing boxing gloves, or indeed any gloves at all. The two-time world heavyweight champion is focused on making a return to WWE following a five-month absence from wrestling.
Known as The Gypsy King, Fury made his WWE wrestling debut in October 2019 at the Crown Jewel, where he faced off against and defeated Braun Strowman. Afterward, he made an appearance in September last year at the WWE Clash at the Castle, where he stopped Austin Theory from interfering in the match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
Since then, the English boxer has been missing in action. The Royal Rumble event on January 28 was supposed to mark his return, but his immigration issues made that impossible.
Fury was denied entrance into the US last year due to his connections to Daniel Kinahan, the alleged Irish organized crime boss. However, Fury has continued to hold out hope for a comeback. The 34-year-old boxer spoke about his imminent return in an interview with Give Me Sport, saying:
