Austria-based video game publisher, THQ Nordic, has announced its line-up for Gamescom 2022 taking place in Cologne, Germany, on August 24.
These are the nine games in the lineup: SpellForce: Conquest of Eo Alone in the Dark Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed Outcast 2 - A New Beginning Wreckreation The Valiant Tempest Rising SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake AEW: Fight Forever Some of the games, like Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, are remakes, while others, such as SpellForce: Conquest of Eo and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake are sequels. Visitors to the conference will have a chance to play and experience the said titles before they hit store shelves.
THQ Nordic was founded in 2011 as Nordic Games. The company changed its name to THQ Nordic in 2016 after its parent company, Embracer Group, purchased the THQ trademark. It has 988 employees and over €150 million in revenue, making it one of the top video game publishers in the world. The company hosts the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase where it unveils its upcoming titles. The most recent one took place on August 12 this year.
