Unfortunately, while The Simpsons Movie 2 was confirmed back in 2018, the lack of official news about a second film suggested that it was probably canned. But, according to Al Jean, the executive producer and showrunner of The Simpsons, The Simpsons Movie 2 is still very much in development.
