Still, according to Insider Gaming, the reveal is "imminent," and we may be getting the highly-anticipated Need for Speed reveal within the next two weeks. The insider also claims that the next NFS game is called Need for Speed Unbound.
Earlier this year, we had some leaks showcasing the gameplay details of the game. The gameplay in the leaks appeared to be from early development stages. It is also assumed that the game will be revealed before 2022 ends. Now, we are just three months away from the new year and haven't seen any official reveal.
However, according to Insider Gaming, the next Need for Speed is set to be revealed in early October with a release date of December 2, 2022. The timeline does make sense considering the rumors of the game being released before 2022 ends.
