There's a reason Prime Video's hit series The Boys is so popular among its fans. The American satirical superhero series not only boasts an exceptional cast but also excels at keeping its audience engaged by offering doses of uproarious banter on social media.

Last week, there was quite a stir on Twitter after Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie Campbell in The Boys, debunked rumors suggesting he'd been cast in the role of Johnny Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. It didn't take long for Prime Video's official Twitter page to seize the moment.

The account responded to this false casting buzz with a tweet captioned, "He's already in a pretty fantastic four." Not to be outdone, The Boys' official page joined in the banter, sharing an image from Season 2 depicting Lamplighter dramatically setting himself ablaze, all while Hughie looks on in horror, with the caption, "Flame On, mates."

Jack Quiad isn't the first actor to be linked to the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Aftersun's star Paul Mescal, Dev Patel, Matt Smith, Tom Ellis, Saoirse Ronan, Penn Badgley, Mila Kunis, Jodie Comer, and many others have all been speculated as top contenders for different roles in the film. The rumor that seems to persist the most is the one involving Adam Driver, who is supposedly lined up to portray Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic).
