The Fantastic Four movie has had a good number of casting rumors with no official confirmations. Now, a rumored cast member has reportedly accepted the role.

The rumors surrounding Adam Driver’s casting in Fantastic Four have been going on since October last year. The upcoming MCU movie reboots the original series and is set to tap a new cast for the superhero team.
A new report suggests that Driver has accepted the role of Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic. This report comes from the reliable movie insider MyTimeToShineHello on Twitter.
We recently reported that Driver was in the final stages of negotiation for the role and it looks like a deal has been struck between the actor and Disney.
"It's done. Adam Driver is our Reed Richards," the insider tweeted.

Driver is no stranger to Disney blockbuster franchises as he has been part of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. While the movies proved to be divisive among Star Wars fans, Driver performed well as the main villain Kylo Ren.
The actor fits well into the role of Mister Fantastic based on his looks. He may not be at the level of Ioan Gruffudd in terms of fit for the role but he is certainly good enough. Driver also has acting credentials to back up his casting and has a proven track record with Disney.
Who will be cast as members of the Fantastic Four
Aside from Driver, there have been a number of actors linked to casting rumors for Fantastic Four. But, so far, Driver is the only cast member to have reportedly signed a deal with Marvel Studios for the movie.
The Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie has reportedly been offered the role of Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman. On top of this, other actors have been linked to the role including Vanessa Kirby, who is rumored to be the top choice for the role of Invisible Woman.
Normal People actor Paul Mescal has been rumored to star as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch for the MCU. Mescal has recently been cast as the protagonist for Ridley Scott’s Gladiator sequel.
There was one strange rumor about Mila Kunis playing a female version of The Thing. Kunis was spotted having lunch with Fantastic Four director Matt Shakman, sparking rumors of her involvement in the film. The actor has denied that she will be part of the Fantastic Four.
Fantastic Four is currently not delayed as a result of the WGA strike, unlike Blade. It's highly likely Fantastic Four will start filming in January.
The Fantastic Four is opening in theaters on February 14, 2025.
