Fans have been patiently waiting to get their hands on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The upcoming video game series recently gave content creators and journalists a hands-on preview and the early reactions sound very promising for the sequel.

EA and Respawn Entertainment hosted a hands-on preview of the game, giving fans some insight into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Participants in the event were given several hours to play the game. During the event, players explore a section of the game's second chapter.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor continues the story of now Jedi Knight Cal Kestis as he tries to outwit the pursuing Galactic Empire forces. The game takes place five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and a decade after Order 66.

During the preview event, players got to explore a section of the planet Koboh, which is where most of the sequel's story takes place. According to early reviews, the design of the planet is a lot less linear and allows for exploration. There is a path for players to follow for the main story mission but there are detours along the way. The game also supports open-world exploration for its side quests.
