Casual Spider-Man fans, especially those who know the movie versions of the character, probably aren't quite as aware of what Peter Parker can do when he lets loose. Now, another more mainstream medium will reveal a darker side of the titular character when Marvel's Spider-Man 2 comes out later this year.
Just like what it did with its September 2021 PlayStation Showcase, Sony saved the best for its last with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 swinging by to end the event.
But, if you think that the game will feature the same jolly and carefree Spider-Man, you're dead wrong.
While the trailer shows a slightly more seasoned Miles Morales, the biggest change has to be with Peter Parker. Instead of staying away from the symbiote, this version of Peter Parker appears to have embraced it fully, and, as Miles puts it simply, he doesn't feel like his good ol' spidey self.
The extended gameplay trailer shows Kraven the Hunter looking for bigger game to hunt in New York, forcing Peter Parker and Miles Morales to protect the very same villains that they once swore to take down.
