Sony's DualShock and DualSense controllers have never had an "upgrade," unlike the Xbox controllers that have had the Xbox Elite line of controllers for years. But, it appears that this will all change soon.

According to Tom Henderson, Sony will release a PS5 "Pro" controller, claiming that it is a "genuine professional" controller that could get an official reveal at the end of June. In the same report, Henderson adds that Sony might announce the release date for God of War: Ragnarok at the said event, although neither is confirmed at the moment.

Going back to the "Pro" controller for the PS5, Henderson explains that he's seen images of the prototype for the controller, codenamed "Hunt." The well-known industry insider says that the unannounced gaming controller will have removable analog sticks, trigger stops, and back buttons. On top of this, the new and presumably, more expensive, PS5 controller, will come with new removable grips for better support.
