Sony has announced that a standalone version of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, an improved version of the 2018 PS4-exclusive, is coming to the PlayStation 5.
What this means is PS5 owners can finally enjoy one of the best-selling PS4 titles on the PS5 without buying the Ultimate Edition of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Remastered for PS5

Sony has announced that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, an improved version of the 2018 PS4-exclusive, is coming to the PlayStation 5. PS4 copy owners can upgrade to the PS5 enhanced version for an additional $10, while others can buy a standalone copy for $49.99.
According to Sony, people who already own a PS4 copy (either digital or physical) of Marvel's Spider-Man can upgrade to the enhanced version for the PS5 for just $10 more. Unfortunately, much like the previous PS5 upgrades for older games, copies redeemed via the PS Plus aren't eligible. Instead, they'll need to buy a standalone copy of the remastered edition for $49.99, which applies to everyone else.
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is perhaps most famous for introducing a new face for Peter Parker. However, most forget that it could've easily been called the Definitive Edition as it comes with The City That Never Sleeps DLC, starring Black Cat, and several other Spider-Man goodies like the suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home. Finally, Spider-Man Remastered gives PS5 owners two modes of play to access: Quality Mode (30FPS with Ray Tracing) and Performance Mode (60FPS).
