Sony has officially confirmed the PS Plus free game lineup for June 2022 following an earlier leak. To no one's surprise, the freebies are exactly what was revealed ahead of time.
As per our earlier report, the PS Plus lineup for June 2022 is as follows: God of War (2018) Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl PS Plus subscribers can start downloading all three games on June 7. Until then, those with active PS Plus subscriptions still have time to claim May's PS Plus free games lineup.
Mixed reactions are a common theme for Sony these days. Just like with the initial announcement of the new PS Plus, fans aren't sold on the free games for the month. 2018's God of War is the best-selling game on the PS4, but this is also a problem. Most if not all who have a PS4 or PS5 already have God of War. Not to mention, the game is part of the PS Plus Collection.
While it's understandable to give it away for free in the lead-up to God of War: Ragnarok's launch later this year, the criticism does have its merits.
