After the surprisingly successful 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog live-action and CGI film, the sequel is well on its way, with the first full trailer released as part of The Game Awards 2021.

The first film grossed $306 million globally and because of the COVID-19 lockdowns, it became one of the biggest movies of 2020.
