The director of the original Silent Hill movie and the upcoming reboot, Christophe Gans, is saying that Konami is working on multiple Silent Hill games. Gans revealed this in a recent interview with the French website Movie & Game.
The interview, which took place in French, was translated by a ResetEra user named Angie. He made the following comment, "I'm working with the original creators [Team Silent] at Konami [and] there are several games in development as we speak. There are several teams on it with a big line of games. They will revive the franchise. I think they were [Konami] really impressed by the success of the remakes of Resident Evil that are evidently exceptional games.
During the interview, Gans also confirmed that Bloober Team is working on a remake of the classic horror title, Silent Hill 2, with Konami while other studios are handling other titles.
Silent Hill is a single-player survival horror game by Team Silent that came out in 1999. It's widely considered by critics and fans as one of the best video games of all time. It ended up getting several new installments as well as a movie, a visual novel, and a series of comic books.
