Change is indeed coming as Seth Rollins fulfills his vision and becomes the first WWE World Heavyweight Champion in its re-introduction by pinning AJ Styles at the Jeddah Superdome on Saturday, May 27.
AJ Styles was the first to make his way into the ring as part of the first of the three main events scheduled for the night. But, as he's always done these past few months, the Messiah, Seth "Freakin" Rollins, opened into the welcoming and serenading chants of the crowd as they chanted for what seemed like forever. However, while the crowd was clearly behind Rollins, Styles didn't let that faze him.
The Phenomenal One raced out to an early advantage, sending Rollins out of the ring with a clothesline and taking control of the early portion, being the first to cover multiple times.
