It's no secret that most WWE superstars would love to join the Hollywood ranks and apply their flair for the dramatic on the big screen. The Rock is easily the most famous example of this, but others have enjoyed plenty of success with their recent transitions like Dave Bautista and John Cena. Now, it appears Seth Rollins wants to join the fictional elite club of the said names.

Earlier this week, we reported on Seth Rollins' appearance on set of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Captain America: New World Order.
It isn't unclear what kind of role the future WWE Hall of Famer will play in Captain America 4 but it might force him to miss an extended amount of time in the WWE.
According to Dave Meltzer's latest newsletter from the Wrestling Observer (via The Direct), Seth Rollins will miss two weeks of WWE actions now as he's in Atlanta filming the fourth Captain America movie.
Seth Rollins is one of the biggest names in the WWE and a regular draw for the massive wrestling promotion. He's one of the most decorated WWE Superstars and one of only two two-time Grand Slam champions in the WWE.
As one of WWE's most indispensable performers and someone who doesn't need a championship to get over with fans, Rollins' presence in every match is important. This will become even more evident if he will win his match against AJ Styles on May 27 at Night of Champions. If Rollins wins the WWE Heavyweight Championship, as per earlier expectations, he'll have to be willing to defend his title on Monday Night RAW and other PPV events all the time.
This is the promise Triple H made when he unveiled the RAW-exclusive title belt last month, as he took jabs at The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, and his "part-time" role in the WWE.
It's difficult to think of Rollins being able to perform at a high level in the WWE every week if he's filming Captain America 4 as well.
Missing two weeks heading into his big title match in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, May 27, isn't a good sign. Things can only get worse from here, depending on Rollins' role in Captain America 4. If the MCU likes Rollins and vice versa, he could spend even more time on the set, and that's not including expected reshoots ahead of the film's premiere on May 3, 2024.
The WWE can't afford to introduce a new championship belt and give it to someone who can't physically appear to defend it every week again. You could argue that it was a mistake to do it the first time with Roman Reigns already even though it's turning out quite well.
This is a real problem for the WWE if true, but it's a good challenge to have, all things considered.
We'll find out more about what the WWE and Rollins are planning next soon enough as Night of Champions kicks off on Saturday, May 27, with Seth Rollins facing off against AJ Styles for the WWE Heavyweight Championship belt.
