Namor is one of the oldest Marvel Comics characters, but he hasn't appeared in the MCU yet. Fans hoped that the DCEU's success with the Jason Momoa-led Aquaman film from 2018 would pave the way for Marvel Studios' live-action adaptation of its Atlantean King. Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case for the MCU, but following Okoye's mention of underwater earthquakes in 2019's Avengers: Endgame, audiences had reason to believe that Namor's MCU debut was only a matter of when and not if.
Now, Tenoch Huerta, who has long been rumored to portray Namor, the Sub-Mariner, in the MCU, just gave fans another good reason to speculate.
According to the actor's recent social media post, he is currently in Puerto Rico. It didn't take long for internet sleuths to put two and two together to surmise that Huerta could appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which recently moved production to the Caribbean country.
Black Panther 2's production has taken a long time to finish, spanning June to November 2021 before taking a hiatus and resuming earlier this year as Letitia Wright returned from an injury she sustained on the set of the Black Panther sequel. Since then, we've learned that Ironheart actress, Dominique Thorne, has finished filming her scenes for Wakanda Forever, which suggests that production is almost over.
