Roman Reigns set to defend his title at Money in the Bank and SummerSlam

Of course, as plans change in the WWE all the time, Triple H could throw us a curveball and change things mid-way.

But, for now, it's safe to assume that someone within the Friday Night SmackDown roster will come out to challenge Roman Reigns. We're sure this isn't Cody Rhodes because his arm is still messed up after Brock Lesnar put him in successive Kimura Locks and made him pass out at Night of Champions. The two are still scheduled to duke it out at least once more at either of the upcoming events but the common theory is that it will happen at SummerSlam.

This leaves the door open for Cody Rhodes to book his second shot at Roman Reigns at a later event by winning Money in the Bank, but somehow that just doesn't feel right.

If you ask WRKD wrestling, a civil war between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa against The Usos is on the cards for July 1 in the O2 Arena. This would, in turn, give Roman a chance to defend his title at SummerSlam while "closing out" the ongoing strife within The Bloodline. Although it must be disappointing that Reigns isn't scheduled to defend the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship in London in the first PLE following its new debut, fans in London can at least play witness to the next act in The Bloodline storyline.

Who knows? Maybe this theoretical tag team match between The Usos and the team of Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns will set up Jimmy's full defection from the group to challenge The Tribal Chief years after Jey failed to do so.

Of course, at the time of writing, it's still unclear if Roman Reigns will be defending his title belts at Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.

The only thing that's guaranteed is Reigns will be in London in some capacity.
