As Seth Rollins prepares to defend his new title belt every chance he gets, his former stablemate, Roman Reigns, will do so at the next two PLEs.

In one of the reports from theWrestling Observer Newsletter (via Cageside Seats) a few weeks ago, Dave Meltzer noted that The Head of the Table is "expected to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal title" at both Money in the Bank (July 1) and SummerSlam (August 5).

Reigns has held the WWE Universal Championship for over 1,000 days, the longest title reign of modern WWE. During this time, he's successfully fended off 28 attempts at his spot atop the totem pole, the most recent victim being Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.

Triple H, in his introduction of the World Heavyweight Championship belt, apparently took jabs at the "part-time" nature of Reigns' championship run. Rollins also took a swipe at Reigns for taking away so many opportunities from wrestlers by not being available to defend his championships all the time. Now, as if in response to those criticisms, Reigns is taking on challengers at successive PLEs this summer.
