After several days and months of waiting as well as multiple leaks, CD Projekt RED finally gave the next-gen patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt a release date.

CDPR originally confirmed the next-gen update for its best-selling title two years ago and gave it an October 19, 2021 release date before delaying it to this year then indefinitely and ultimately pushing it back to Q4 2022.

But, with literally zero concrete news about when it's hitting store shelves, fans were bracing for another delay. At least, that was until a gaming store worker in the UK leaked its December 9 release date.

Now, we know that the said leak was off by just a few days.
