The Resident Evil 4 Remake has the potential to be one of the greatest game remakes of all time. But, some series' fans are less than worthy of such a game after demonstrating uncouth conduct towards one of the game's voice actors.

Online harassment targeted at Lily Gao, the talented voice actor of Ada Wong in Resident Evil 4 Remake, has unfortunately been rampant among fans who were dissatisfied with her performance.

Gao, known for her roles in Syfy's The Expanse and as Ada in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, went on Instagram to share posts breaking down her character in the latest Resident Evil game. Rather than encouraging her, fans bombarded Gao with hateful comments. As a result, she deleted all but one of her posts from her account and disabled the reply feature on her comments section.

Nevertheless, genuine fans of the popular Capcom franchise came to her defense by sharing messages of support and condemning the toxic behavior of the online trolls.
