Rainbow Six Extraction: Release Date, Trailer, Platforms, and More

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is a Player-Versus-Environment spin-off based on the Outbreak mode from Rainbow Six Siege. In the said mode, instead of fighting against the vague terrorists that the game put players up against, players can team up and take on mutant AI enemies.

Extraction will let you choose from 18 unique Operators that bring something different to the table. Because each team is only composed of three players, gamers will have to think hard about which Operators they choose. Knowing what abilities, gadgets, and weapons, an Operator have, as well as how it synergizes with the other Operators on the team, will play a crucial role in eliminating the alien threat that's threatening the entirety of America.

Players will be able to choose from 12 different maps set across four United States regions. Each map will be filled with procedurally generated challenges, as well as unique enemy types that will gradually get worse and more powerful as you head deeper into each run.

This includes the Apex, Tormentor, Breacher, and the Spiker. Each one will pose a different kind of challenge for players, forcing teams to adapt and use a different strategy in every encounter. Will Rainbow Six Extraction Be a Stand-Alone Title? Extraction might have been based on a limited-time mode for Rainbow Six Siege, but it is very much its own game. Extraction will launch as a standalone title and not as an expansion for an existing game. However, as we've already made clear, Extraction is a PvE title and will let players go either solo or team up in groups of three to take on parasitic alien creatures. How Many Operations Will Rainbow Six Extraction Have? A total of 18 Operators will be available in Rainbow Six Extraction.

Ubisoft has confirmed at least 18 playable Operators in the game available for Extraction. It isn't confirmed yet if all 18 will be playable at launch or if they'll be added to the game at a later date. Ubisoft also hasn't revealed if more Operators are coming to Extraction down the line.
