During the aforementioned Xbox Era podcast episode, Shpeshal_Nick suggested that id Software and MachineGames were involved in a new Quake game. Now, if you check out the QuakeCon 2021 schedule, id Software and MachineGames are the first to present at the event after the introduction. Coincidentally, the two are going to take to the stage to celebrate Quake's 25th anniversary.
