The developers behind popular esports title, Psyonix, as well as world-famous vehicle manufacturer, BMW, just announced a partnership for Rocket League. As part of the collaboration, BMW will become a title sponsor for two of Rocket League's tournaments, the Rocket League Open as well as Rocket League Freestyle.
Perhaps, more importantly, Rocket League is set to welcome BMW's latest car. The BMW M240i is coming to Rocket League this month.
Rocket League scores big with BMW partnership
As we've already mentioned, BMW will become the title sponsor for two Rocket League tournaments. Going forward, the Rocket League Open will be known as the BMW Rocket League Open. The tournament is the second regional tournament of the 2021-22 RLCS European Circuit and will kick off on November 5, featuring a $100,000 prize pool. At the same time, Rocket League freestyle players can participate in the BMW Freestyle Tournament for a chance to win part of the $25,000 prize pool.
