Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 comes out on the 28th with early access (exclusive to those who pre-ordered the game) starting on the 20th. But, while plenty of gamers can't hide their excitement for the game to come out, Activision Blizzard still hasn't revealed one key detail - the pre-load date.
Pre-loading lets gamers download a game around 48-72 hours before it is playable, so the download size at launch is much smaller and more manageable. Because the Call of Duty franchise is infamous for having a massive file size, many users are eager to find out when it will be available for pre-loading.
According to @PlayStationSize, fans may start downloading MW2 to prepare for its release on the 19th - two days before the early access campaign period starts. In addition, another Reddit shared evidence that corroborates the info from PlayStation Game Size.
This is as sure as we can get about the pre-load dates for MW2 outside of official info.
