To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Pokemon titles, Pokemon Red and Green, which released way back in 1996 in Japan, Pokemon Company decided to throw a little something-something for their fans, in the form of another Pokemon Presents event.

However, as short and sweet as the event was, not everyone was able to follow it closely.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl

President and CEO of The Pokemon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, was the one to announce three upcoming Pokemon games himself.

The first two, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, are no surprise. However, it was still a welcome surprise for many Pokemon fans. After all, it's been more than 6 years since Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, released for the Nintendo 3DS.
