We’ve got both good news and bad news if you’re a fan of Harry Potter and, by extension, the highly successful open-world RPG title, Hogwarts Legacy.
The good news is that Sony is releasing a limited edition DualSense controller themed after the Wizarding World title. The bad news is that it’s so limited that it will be exclusive to the UK and the US.

Avalanche Software reveal the limited edition #HogwartsLegacy DualSense controller.
In the UK it will be available to buy via https://t.co/T8YqRO2zB8 on Friday, February 10 – aka tomorrow – from 10AM GMT. (While supplies last) https://t.co/mSjxizYlqs pic.twitter.com/Xme8KsgfPZ

As revealed on the official PlayStation account, the jet-black DualSense controller features a golden illustration of Hogwarts on its touchpad, with other magical thingamabobs all over, as if the iconic school wasn’t clue enough.
We’re expecting this limited-edition PS5 DualSense controller to sell well, just like the game itself, so we’re curious exactly why Sony didn’t decide to roll it out so that Potterheads all over the world can get their hands on one.
If you fancy getting yourself a pair, the limited edition Hogwarts Legacy DualSense controller will be available for pre-order starting Friday, February 10, at 10:00 AM UK and 10:00 AM Pacific, ahead of its shipping date on February 28.
Speaking of Hogwarts Legacy, critics are fawning all over the Harry Potter game. Unfortunately, its performance on the PC leaves a bit to be desired.
