New set photos confirm that the TVA will be in Deadpool 3

Another image shared by the leaker shows the X-Men villain Toad, who is riding a car that looks a great deal like the Fantastic Four's classic Fantasticar with an unidentified character riding shotgun. We know that Toad will be reuniting with Sabertooth in the movie.

We do not know yet what role Toad and Sabertooth will play, but this seems to confirm previous rumors that many of the characters from the X-Men universe are going to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the release of Deadpool 3.

The upcoming Deadpool 3 has been rumored to beone of the central films within the current Multiverse Saga. The appearance of all these characters suggests that Deadpool may be visiting timelines to recruit warriors for the upcoming Secret Wars against Kang the Conqueror.

If this is indeed the case, then we may see an Avengers: Endgame-style battle with all the heroes versus the variants of Kang. For now, rumors suggest that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may return as Daredevil and Elektra, presumably from another Multiverse as Charlie Cox is the current Matthew Murdock of Earth-616.

Channing Tatum has allegedly been cast as Gambit, a character that he signed on to play way back in 2013 and has been a highly popular pick with fans ever since, appearing in all kinds of fan art. Other X-Men rumored to be part of the movie are Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Professor X, and Magneto.

It will be interesting how director Shawn Levy handles the huge number of stars in his MCU debut. We think that the adventure of Deadpool and Wolverine will be the central storyline and many of the characters with little screen time. Deadpool 3 is reportedly a farewell to the Fox Marvel Universe which is the reason why many of the characters are appearing in the film.

Deadpool 3 is coming to theaters on July 26, 2024.
