According to rumors, Owen Wilson will appear in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic universe film, Deadpool 3, as his fan-favorite character, Mobius M. Mobius.
Deadpool 3 has been one of the highly anticipated MCU films. The debut of Wade Wilson aka Deadpool and more importantly Wolverine in the MCU is rumored to be the precursor to the arrival of the X-Men.
Fans have been speculating on the relationship of Deadpool to the rest of the MCU and specifically the Multiverse Saga. We may now have the link between the Merc with a mouth and the rest of Phase 6.
A tweet from a dedicated Deadpool 3 account first shared the rumor of the return of Agent Mobius. The post revealed that scooper Daniel Richtman was the source of the information.
Owen Wilson will reprise his role as Agent Mobius in ‘DEADPOOL 3’.

The TVA middle manager first appeared in Loki season 1 and will also be returning for season 2 of the series. Having Agent Mobius and the TVA in Deadpool 3 is very interesting, to say the least.
Who is Agent Mobius and how is he related to the Multiverse Saga
Mobius M. Mobius aka Agent Mobius is a member of the Time Variance Authority. The TVA is responsible for monitoring and managing the sacred timeline of the MCU. Agent Mobius, like everyone in the TVA, is a clone of himself.
In Loki, Agent Mobius was tasked to investigate the God of Mischief and hunt down other variants of the Asgardian Prince. Agent Mobius is central to the plot of the Loki series which also introduced Kang the Conqueror to the MCU.
In the comic books, Agent Mobius is tasked to punish individuals who altered the timeline or created variants of it. Mobius has been in conflict with the Fantastic Four, Ant-Man, and She-Hulk. All these characters are part of the MCU’s Multiverse saga.
Interestingly, having Mobius appear in Deadpool 3 means that Wade Wilson has altered the timeline significantly enough to warrant the TVA’s involvement. It can be recalled that Deadpool acquired (or stole) Cable’s time travel device at the end of the second movie. He then proceeded to "fix" the timeline by preventing his wife’s death, murdering Weapon XI from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and changing the diapers of a baby named A. Hitler.
If the rumors are true, then we can speculate that Deadpool (and even Wolverine) may take part in the Avengers: Kang Dynasty. These are just rumors for now but hopefully, Marvel (or Reynolds) will give us some hints about the plot of Deadpool 3.
From a fan’s perspective, having Ryan Renolds and Owen Wilson would be hilarious. Both actors are known for their comedic prowess and having a character like Deadpool, who has a penchant for breaking the fourth wall, should make this the funniest MCU film.
Deadpool 3 with be arriving in cinemas on November 8, 2024.
