A new feature and poster for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is out. And, just like that, a potential new franchise might have been born.
Hollywood has tried and subsequently failed to make a film based on Dungeons & Dragons before. However, based on all that we've seen so far, Honor Among Thieves could make up for all of the blasphemous past attempts. The ensemble cast alone is well worth the price of admission. It features well-known class archetypes with fittingly cast actors to boot. This all but guarantees the film will at least make for some light medieval fantasy fun.
As always, the stingy and observant D&D fanbase couldn't help but nitpick after looking at the latest Honor Among Thieves poster. The main criticism of the poster is it's asymmetrical and lacks composition. It's even been described as bland, as if an intern made it. Despite its shortcomings, it does an excellent job of showcasing the all-star cast that has signed on to become fodder for critics and audiences alike come March.
