Who's down for a bit of dungeons & chill? For fans of Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO), Update 67, dubbed "Slice of Life," brings a mix of excitement and charm, including the chance to embark on unusual quests and enjoy exclusive rewards.

The new update is the second in a year-long celebration of the tabletop roleplaying game's 50th Anniversary, created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. Released on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, Update 67 offers players a range of experiences, from participating in a cooking competition to going on an educational date—all set within the vibrant world of Eberron's City of Sharn.

The highlight of Update 67 is the introduction of a new Adventure Pack, also titled "Slice of Life," which consists of three quests: "Fred's First Date," "Too Many Cooks," and "This Old Haunt." These quests promise players a taste of the everyday adventures that make life in Sharn anything but ordinary. Whether renovating a home or exploring the nuances of a mindflayer's romantic encounter, each quest offers a unique and immersive experience.

Baldur's Gate 3 isn't the only Dungeons & Dragons game where you can have a mindflayer romance someone. Though you do have to work a bit harder to prepare the perfect date for an Illithid.
