Techland dropped some exciting news for the sequel to their underrated open-world parkour zombie game, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, at Gamescom 2021. The new Dying Light 2 trailer was shown off at Gamescom 2021 and gives audiences plenty to look forward to, especially with how the sequel will provide players with even more freedom to traverse the in-game world and fight against hordes of mindless zombies.

What's new in the latest Dying Light 2 trailer?

One of Dying Light's greatest strengths was its parkour gameplay. This unique means of traversing Harran was what drew most players to the game. Although it also made the zombies trivial in later portions of Dying Light, the game remained fun as you could literally grapple your way from one skyscraper to another and not have to land on the ground for what feels like forever.

With that said, it appears that Dying Light 2 is going to double down on what made the first Dying Light game so great. However, this time around, the game will give you even more choices on how you want to approach the combat.
