Metal Gear is commonly associated with the PlayStation brand. But, ever since the rumors of the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake came up, we've heard talks that it won't be exclusive to the PS5. The official Xbox Twitter account alluded to this in a simple tweet right around the time that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was officially revealed at the May 24 PlayStation Showcase. Now, Xbox has gone ahead and confirmed this outright.
While the PlayStation Showcase "only" showed the PlayStation 5 as the platform for the upcoming Metal Gear remake, Xbox went on Twitter to clarify things in the most passive-aggressive way possible.

Just minutes after the PlayStation Showcase ended, the official Xbox Twitter account posted an image listing the following games that are coming to the Xbox Series S/X: Immortals of Aveum Ghostrunner 2 Marathon Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Dragon's Dogma 2 Alan Wake 2 The Plucky Squire Teardown Assassin's Creed Mirage Neva Cat Quest: Pirates of the Furribean The Talos Principle II We're calling it now, Konami will call subsequent sequels to the remake a part of the "Delta" line of Metal Gear games.
