Marvel gives major update for Spider-Man 4

One interesting rumor is that Tom Hardy's Venom may be involved in the next movie. The post-credits for Spider-Man: No Way Home teased a crossover between the Sony Spider-Verse and the MCU. In the scene, Eddie Brock is discussing the existence of the Avengers and events of Infinity Wars with the Symbiote.

Hardy's portrayal of Eddie Brock, aka Venom, has won the admiration of fans. It will be interesting to see Holland's witty and talkative Spider-Man go up against Venom and his wacky symbiote.

However, Sony's take on Venom is more of an anti-hero with strong leanings towards doing more good than bad. Venom could start off fighting Spider-Man and then eventually team up to fight an even bigger baddie later on in the movie.

Another report suggests that Miles Morales may play a part in Spider-Man 4. We do not know yet how old he will be in the movie, but the rumor is that Morales will be much younger than Peter Parker. Marvel may want to introduce a young protégé for Spider-Man, just like how Peter Parker was taken in by Tony Stark before his eventual death in Avengers: End Game.

Tom Holland most recently starred in last year's live-action adaptation of Uncharted, which is expected to get a sequel in the next few years. Spider-Man 4 currently doesn't have a release date.
