The release of Lords of the Fallen is just two months away and HexWorks is giving fans more details about the upcoming ARPG. The studio just released an extended gameplay presentation to give fans an idea of what to expect at release.
The gameplay showcase highlights the incredibly detailed environment of the game. Players get to explore the worlds of Axiom and Umbral, the realms of the living and dead respectively.
Each of the two worlds will feature unique enemies, characters, and loot. Umbral has an enemy, the Medacious Visage, with an unusual-looking head with arms and legs but no torso.
Players can visit Umbral at any time by using the Umbral Lamp. The transition between worlds looked flawless in the gameplay showcase.
The gameplay trailer also highlighted a fight between the character and what the devs called “the ravaging legions of Adyr.” Players can employ a myriad of ways to dispatch the enemies with each character being able to use up to four magic or ranged skills.
Players can also team up with friends to take on more challenging enemies in the cooperative multiplayer mode. The world of Lords of the Fallen can be braved together, uninterrupted for the entirety of your journey, each warrior resting the experience and items uncovered,” the developers said.
