CI Games’ upcoming Souls-like title is now ready for launch. The studio reveals that Lords of the Fallen will be getting both Nvidia and AMD upscaling technologies when the game ships.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Lords of the Fallen promises stunning graphics alongside challenging gameplay. With the visuals and player experience in mind, CI Games and Hexworks have added Nvidia DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0 support at launch. This is great news for players as Bethesda recently released Starfield with only AMD’s upscaling technology supported at launch.
It seems AMD FSR 3.0 will only feature Super Resolution and not Frame Generation. The menu system doesn’t have a frame generation option for the AMD upscaling technology. However, future updates may include Frame Generation for AMD.
Lords of the Fallen is a visually impressive title. Based on the trailers and gameplay footage, Hexworks and CI Games did a great job building the game using Unreal Engine 5. The title also makes good use of the Lumen Global Illumination lighting technology highlighted in the dark and moody setting.
The upcoming Soulsborne features high-resolution textures and takes advantage of Unreal Engine 5’s Chaos Physics for highly advanced clothing simulations. The game also has highly detailed character models, making for one visually stunning title.
Surprisingly, even with the high visual quality, the PC specs for Lords of the Fallen aren’t that demanding. Mid-tier PCs from a few years back can comfortably play the title.
Here are the minimum and recommended PC specs for Lords of the Fallen:

It remains to be seen if Lords of the Fallen will live up to expectations, both visually and in terms of gameplay. Souls-like players nowadays value both graphics and gameplay, no thanks to the award-winning outing, Elden Ring. Having both Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR should be a step in the right direction as frame rates and visuals matter for a lot of gamers.
Lords of the Fallen is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 13.
