There have been a lot of rumors about the casting of the next Superman. However, it seems like DC Studios has not yet chosen a successor to Henry Cavill. DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has once again debunked a new casting rumor.

The director has taken time off from his busy schedule to engage fans and dispel new information about the actor taking on the mantle of Superman for the new DC Universe.

The said new rumor suggests that Logan Lerman has been cast to the role of Clark Kent for the upcoming Superman: Legacy.

Lerman is best known for his portrayal of the titular role in the Percy Jackson movies, as well as starring in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and the Amazon TV series Hunter. The rumor started when Beyond the Trailer host Grace Randolph tweeted that DC was "very close to a Superman casting - might not be announced for awhile but it could leak."
