At this point, the only thing missing from the still-unconfirmed remaster of Red Dead Redemption is one thing - an actual confirmation. Unfortunately, because Rockstar Games likes to keep its cards close to its chest, we're going to have to wait until it's ready to reveal anything. The good news is if we believe the rumors, we're getting official word soon.
According to @Budzcario on Twitter, Rockstar will announce the Red Dead Redemption Remastered next month, August, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X as well as the PC ahead of its release in either October or November.
If this is true, the news comes a little over a year after Rockstar put Red Dead Online to pasture.
Rockstar would like everyone to believe that it's all-in on Grand Theft Auto 6, as it should. The fact is that anything outside of GTA 6 won't be received as well by fans, unless it's an update for Grand Theft Auto Online, in which case, they'll love it if only so that they'll have more stuff to comb over to look for potential information about the upcoming game.
