Insomniac Games released the original Marvel's Spider-Man game in 2018 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. The open-world, third-person, single-player, action-adventure game based on the fan-favorite Marvel Comics character, Spider-Man, was a massive hit among critics and audiences alike. It ended up setting the record for the third-best-selling PS4 game of all time with 13.2 million copies sold.
After a spin-off title for the PS5 and PC ports for both games, the game is finally getting a sequel next year that features both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable characters.
