Insomniac Games is working on a Wolverine game for the PlayStation 5

Wolverine will finally get the chance to star in a proper video game.
Sony just dropped a brief announcement trailer that Insomniac Games is working on Marvel’s Wolverine.
As the name suggests, the game will star the nearly immortal mutant with adamantium bones.
Insomniac Games has been making AAA titles for Sony for a long time.
The studio is responsible for the creation of some of Sony’s early mascots like Spyro and Ratchet & Clank.
In addition to their work on platformers, Insomniac Games also developed 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man.
Insomniac also made 2020's spin-off title, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
This is the first time that Wolverine will feature in his own game since 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Brian Horton will serve as the creative director for Marvel’s Wolverine with Cameron Christian on board as the game director.
Insomniac Games will have a treasure trove of source material to use as inspiration for Marvel’s Wolverine.
A video game adaptation (with a twist) of his little-known adventures and exploits would definitely do well.
Marvel’s Wolverine does not have a release date as of the moment.
In the meantime, fans can look forward to playing Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy starting on October 26, 2021.
Wolverine will also be a part of the roster of playable characters for Firaxis Games’ Marvel’s Midnight Sun
