According to the trusted industry insider, Activision Blizzard will drop multiplayer footage of Modern Warfare 2 in September just weeks ahead of the official beta.

points out that Activision Blizzard has a long history of multiplayer reveals in September. Specifically, Henderson points out that Black Ops Cold War held its multiplayer reveal on September 9, 2020, and Vanguard had its own reveal last September 7. In addition to historical precedence, the dates do also line up with the release date of Modern Warfare 2. The next Call of Duty game is set to come out on October 28 followed by
