Trusted insider claims that GTA 6 will have DLC

Case in point, GTA Online. If you need further proof, GTA 4 had some of the best DLCs of its generation. The Ballad of Gay Tony, in particular, was well-loved, and some say it's better than the base game.

Coincidentally, an ever-expanding GTA 6 was rumored last year before the leaks confirmed the game's setting and timeline.

Grand Theft Auto is one of the most profitable video game properties. Rockstar rakes in at least half a million in revenue from GTA Online every year. Not to mention, GTA 5 is the second-best-selling game of all time. As a result, the pressure is on Rockstar to deliver a quality product. To make matters worse, Rockstar needs to make a GTA Online sequel.

All things considered, revealing GTA 6 later this year and releasing it in 2024 is in line with the earlier rumors. It also isn't the worst thing if Rockstar broke up base content into future DLC.

The only question now is, when exactly are we going to see more of GTA 6? Wouldn't it be interesting if Rockstar partnered up with its presumed future owners and made GTA 6 the highlight of the still-unannounced PlayStation Showcase later this year? Maybe this is the plan and what 50 Cent was alluding to before he took his social media posts down.
