Hugh Jackman was supposed to retire after the Logan movie came out. However, the actor considered coming out of retirement when he watched the original Deadpool film. Jackman also joked that Ryan Reynolds was constantly bugging him about doing the two of them in a new movie together. Now, Jackman is talking more and more about his MCU debut, and apparently, it involves time travel.
In an interview with SiriusXM, Jackman revealed he wanted decided to return as Wolverine since Marvel was moving around timelines. This new device that the MCU introduced would not be messing with the timeline in which Logan died in the year 2029.
"It's all because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines," Jackman shared with SiriusXM. "Now we can go back because, you know, it's science. So, I don't have to screw with the 'Logan' timeline, which was important to me. And I think probably to the fans too."
Reynolds previously hinted that the timelines for Deadpool 3 and Logan were different. The actor also assured fans that he will not be touching Logan's timeline.
