The Harry Potter movies just turned 20, and with them, the excitement for an RPG based on the wizarding franchise just reached a fever pitch. Unfortunately, Warner Bros refuses to confirm when the Harry Potter RPG is going to be released, paving the way for uneasy and worried fans who are quick to believe the rumors that Hogwarts Legacy will be delayed to 2023.

However, after the studio's official Twitter account and website confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy is set for a 2022 release, a known insider and even WarnerMedia's CEO has quadrupled down to help ease concerns.

More evidence comes from Jason Kilar, who went on Twitter to share news about WarnerMedia's plans for 2022. His most recent uploads include photos of both Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy. Meanwhile, AccountNTG further revealed that the upcoming Avalanch Software-developed game will launch in September. The same user also added that Hogwarts Legacy will be featured in an upcoming State of Play event, confirming earlier rumors.
