The recent months haven't been kind to Henry Cavill. After losing his The Witcher role to Liam Hemsworth, the actor may have just lost another high-profile role to another Hemsworth.
Cavill, perhaps best known for his role as Clark Kent / Superman in DC Films, was set to star in the remake of Highlander. But, if you believe a Giant Freakin Robot report, the actor has been dropped from the project, with Chris Hemsworth targeted as his replacement in the remake of the cult classic.
It is very disappointing for Cavill to be let go from the Highlander. He would have been fit for the role of Connor MacLeod, especially considering his recent portrayal of Geralt in the Netflix series The Witcher.
This is the third project where Cavill has been dropped in less than six months.
The actor made a not-so-surprising return as Superman in Black Adam after his brief cameo in the DC movie was heavily teased by Dwayne Johnson. Cavill officially announced his return as Superman shortly after Black Adam premiered in theaters much to the excitement of fans.
