Starfield has been teased for the better part of the current console generation, but after several delays, fans are losing hope that a release date for Bethesda's first new IP in decades will come any time soon. However, if we believe a recent GOG listing, Starfield will be released on June 29 this year.

Tyler McVicker noticed that the GOG Galaxy storefront listed Starfield to release on June 29 - the same day as International Space Day.

It's only fair to take this detail with a grain of salt. After all, storefronts like GOG often put placeholder dates. Case in point, the Nvidia GeForce Now leak revealed the names and release dates of several games that eventually hit the market on different dates. Given the multiple reports of Starfield being delayed out of its current release window, it wouldn't surprise us if GOG will update the listing now that the cat's out of the bag.

But, if Starfield will launch on June 29, Bethesda and Microsoft are cutting the "first half of 2023" release window close.
